Specialist Services

Debt Counselling, Welfare Benefits, Housing or Employment:
All advisers are trained to offer advice in all these areas. However, if your case is
complex or you qualify for publicly funded legal services (Legal Aid), you will be referred
to a specialist CAB worker in Weston or Clevedon.

Representation in County Court for housing repossession:
There is a CAB advice desk staffed every Monday from 9.30am (at the new court house in St. Georges)

Mental Health Service:
A welfare benefits service is available for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
This service is by referral and appointment only

Community Based Services:

• Advice for homeless people
• Advice for those with addiction issues
• Financial literacy advice

MacMillan Casework Service:
Based at Weston General Hospital. Referral service for cancer patients for help with Welfare Benefits
and other issues.
